The Yale Microbial Sciences Institute successfully mapped how 150 molecules respond to gut bacteria, according to the October 05 2024 issue of Neuroscience News, and how people respond differently to the same food molecules.

The Yale lab of Andrew Goodman is the first systematic map of food molecules and their interactions with our gut bacteria. Said Goodman, the same dietary compound can have no impact on the gut bacteria of one person while completely reshape another individual.
